Did you know that Get Kids Paddling is a national not-for-profit organization run completely by a group of dedicated and passionate volunteers? The GKP Steering Committee has developed lofty goals to reach our vision of paddling experiences for all children and youth across Canada.

To fulfil our mission of support, promotion and connection of individuals and groups across the country, we need your help!

If you believe in the work we are doing, please consider making a monetary contribution before the end of 2024 to help us sustain our efforts to get more kids paddling. We can accept e-transfers of any amount to accounts@getkidspaddling.ca. While at this time, we are not a charity and therefore cannot issue tax receipts, we can offer a huge virtual high-five and much heartfelt gratitude. Why Get Kids Paddling? Webinar November 27, 2024

In 2013, we began advocating for more paddling opportunities for kids and youth. Since that time we have received much positive support for our efforts from the paddling community, and the general public. Similarly, when we’ve approached paddling and outdoor associations, there has been wholehearted acceptance and cooperation.

Why is there such support for getting kids and youth paddling?

Could the answer to that question give us the way forward to achieving our goals?

We invite you to join the conversation at our first webinar of the 2024/25 season!
