- Jane Vincent from the Yukon territory
- Jane lives in the southern Yukon at Du Chü in the traditional territory of the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations. She has planned and delivered a great many canoe projects with Yukon First Nations and schools. With Golden Horn Elementary School she leads the annual grade 7 Yukon R canoe trip from Minto to Dawson City. In this webinar Jane will highlight some of the strategies and lessons learned over the 9 years we have completed a progression of 5 days of training followed by the 315km / 5 day river trip. Hi, I’m Jacob. I’ve been paddling since I was eight years old, growing up in Ontario’s camping and canoeing system. It was through this that I found whitewater canoeing, and I quickly fell in love with the energy of moving water and the sense of connection it creates—with nature, with others, and with myself.
